Proposed White Bay Dock
The bulletin boards on the BVI sites are going crazy today with the info that Romney Associates wants to build a dock (and not a small dock either, but a larger dock) to bring ferries in full of cruise ship people to White Bay.
Ivan's has started a petition to present to Legislative Council that apparently most of the businesses in the area have signed. There has also been an online petition started in respect to this.

Here are a couple links to the subjects on traveltalkonline. Apparently this land that the dock is on can be bought for about $500,000. and that will stop the dock for sure!

Some on island have suggested the easiest way to stop this dock would be to raise money to buy that particular piece of waterfront, at about $500,000.
